Benefits of Membership
The Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nurses (ISAPN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests and professional development of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Illinois.
Membership in ISAPN is open to APRNs practicing in various roles, including Clinical Nurse Practitioners (CNPs), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs). Additionally, students enrolled in APRN programs and retired APRNs are eligible for membership, as are professional and healthcare groups supportive of ISAPN's mission and goals.
Joining ISAPN provides APRNs with access to a range of exclusive benefits, including:
- Continuing education opportunities tailored to APRN practice, offered in various ways including in-person programs, regional meetings, webinars and on-demand. We also host two events yearly: our one-day Pharmacology Update and the annual 3-day APRN Midwest Conference - many webinars and on-demand programs are free for members or significantly discounted.
- Personal assistance with license processing issues - our staff are well connected with individuals who can resolve license processing delays with expediency.
- Access to a statewide network of Illinois APRNs, facilitating information sharing and providing up-to-date news on legislative and practice-related matters.
