APRN Essentials Workshop - October 16th - 8:00AM-5:00PM
John Russell DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, CCRN, RNFA
The APRN Essentials Workshop is an 8hr course with basic suturing and office procedures that you can apply in today's Urgent Care or Primary Care environment. Attendees will walk away with lifetime access to supplemental content and lectures as well as a suturing kit with supplies to perform both the suturing and office procedures at home to refine their skills at home.
Anatomy of an EKG Workshop (October 16th Pre-Conference)
Anatomy of an EKG Workshop - October 16th - 5:30-7:30PM
Tranise Goodlow DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC
Let’s face it: EKG interpretation can be intimidating. Understanding what a P wave, QRS complex, and T wave represent, measuring intervals, and proper lead identification in conjunction with cardiac anatomy are important to understand to achieve EKG mastery.
Anatomy of an EKG will build confidence in your EKG interpretation skills by focusing on foundational EKG principles and demonstrating where to look, when to look, and what to look for in a systematic, nine step approach. Application of this system will empower you to confidently identify a normal EKG, which subsequently makes identifying abnormal characteristics easier for further patient investigation and workup.
