Hospitalist APP Position at Level I Trauma Center in Illinois

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Position details include:

• Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients.
• 12 hour shifts
• Mostly day / evening (8a-8p) shift hours, but must be open to eventually participate in swing shift and night shift rotations in the future as the group plans to expand
• 4 weekend shifts per 4 week blocks
• 3 holidays per year

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Physician Assistant, Master's degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with Hospitalist or ED experience as an APP
• At least 1 year of APP experience in Hospital Medicine or ED required

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois Physician Assistant OR Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients

The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
