CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
ISAPN Midwest Conference
Virtual Event - October 21-22, 2021
This conference serves as a prominent and unique forum for advanced practice registered nurses to learn and discuss current healthcare and system challenges. ISAPN is looking for both experienced presenters and those interested in presenting for the first time.
Submissions should contain subject matter of interest to all advanced practice registered nurses in all specialty areas and practice settings. All topics will be considered, including but not limited to disease management, assessment, and diagnosis, treatment methods, best practices in prescribing, updates on guideline information and recommendations, new technologies, documentation, patient, and family education, legal and ethical issues. Preference will be given to those addressing health care disparities, innovation, legal issues, practice challenges, Pharmacology topics, and opioids.
All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the ISAPN’s submission website by creating an account to upload an abstract.
For each abstract you submit, please indicate your desired presentation format(s) in order of preference –
PRESENTATION FORMATS
- 90-120 minute main session
- Podium – 45-minute lecture and Q&A
- Best Practice Rapid Round – 10-15 minute presentation
- Poster – Online submission with opportunity for comments/feedback by viewers
Submissions from all levels of practice and areas of expertise are encouraged. Abstracts undergo peer-review by three members of the Scholarly Review Committee (SRC).
If you are selected to present, you must sign a presenter agreement that states that you will comply with the listed deadlines and presenter guidelines.

Target date for accept/reject notifications: July 1
Target date for presenter attendance confirmations: July 15
Registration launch: August 1
