Go the Distance: APRN Midwest Conference

The Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing is pleased to announce the APRN Midwest Conference! The theme for the conference will be “Go the Distance,” and it will be held Thursday, October 21 through Friday, October 22, 2021. The event also offers 29.5 CE credits to attendees. Day 1 Schedule
The conference will kick off at 9:00 AM on Thursday, and the first day will focus more on the business aspects of nursing. Session One is titled “APRN Business Owners - Beyond Survival” and will revolve around discussions related to how participants’ businesses changed in 2020 and 2021 and how you expect them to change further moving forward.
Thursday will close out with a session called “Your Personal Brand.” It will allow those involved in all facets of nursing business to focus on creating, building, and perfecting their brand.
Day 2 Schedule
The Friday session will begin at 9:00 AM with a report from the President and Treasurer of ISAPN, the presentation of the new board, and the giving of awards. This will be followed by an update on ISAPN’s political activities in Springfield.
After the lunch break, there will be back-to-back sessions focused on providing healthcare. The first is called “The Disease of Obesity: Pathophysiology and Management” and the second one is “Nontuberculous Mycobacteria Lung Disease Management: Strategies for Advanced Practice Providers.
The day will conclude with the announcement of the PAC raffle winner.
