ISAPN - Call for Volunteers

Are you currently looking to:
- More deeply contribute to the profession;
- Network with other APRNs;
- Support ISAPN in a leadership position; and/or
- Meet passionate individuals that share the vision of advancing APRN practice
If so, the ISAPN Board of Directors announces a Call for Consents for appointed committees. The call is open until 5:00 pm CT, Friday, November 5th. Appointments will be considered during the November 13th Board Meeting.
ISAPN has several different opportunities available for you to become involved. The committees vary in the time commitment involved.
Committees are outlined below:
Finance Committee: Prepares an annual budget to be presented to the Board for approval for each fiscal year, reviews the budget quarterly, and recommends any necessary revisions. Meets via the Zoom platform 3-4 times per year for approximately 1 hour each time.
Membership Committee: Develops and implements plans for retaining and increasing membership, informs the membership of upcoming programs, monitors news media for health-related issues. Meets via the Zoom platform at least bimonthly and frequently communicates via email.
Program Committee: Plans the annual conference and other educational programs. Meets via the Zoom platform monthly for 1 to 1.5 hours each time.
Awards Committee: Help to solicit nominees for the ISAPN annual awards. Work begins in May and wraps up in August after the committee scores and selects the award winners. All meetings are conducted via the Zoom platform.
