Chronic Disease Management 

 

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why?

I love to travel and I’ve recently had my eyes set on a Mediterranean cruise. 

 

How many years have you worked in healthcare?

24 years 

 

What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?

I’m inspired by the great work of ISAPN in legislation and leadership in Illinois. 

 

What is your favorite book?

At the moment my favorite book is Your Next Five Moves by Patrick Bet-David 

 

If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try?

I would absolutely be a flight attendant. I love to serve and travel.

 

How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?

I love that ISAPN keeps members updated on current legislation impacting APNs. 

 

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be? 

Don’t wait to pursue higher education. Advanced degrees are not just for those interested in management. Don’t be afraid to pursue your wildest dreams.
