Family Practice 

 

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why? 

Alaska in the summer and Hawaii in the winter, both places bring me close to nature.

 

How many years have you worked in healthcare? 

I have been working in health care for 33 years.

 

What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?

Networking opportunities with fellow APRNs from diverse backgrounds and specialties influence professional growth in me. 

 

What is your favorite book?

Room by Emma Donoghue

 

If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try? 

I would be in academia as a professor.

 

How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?

Networking with fellow APRNs, free CMEs, nursing conferences and on demand lectures are few perks of being an ISAPN member.

 

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be? 

Initiate networking as a student and get involved in nursing organizations.
