RN, BSN - soon to be MSN, FNP-C next month!

Cardiac/ICU

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why?

How many years have you worked in healthcare? 

10 years! All of my adult life. 

What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?

One of my first assignments for graduate school was finding a local professional organization and learn about their mission and member benefits. I chose ISAPN because it provides ample opportunities for advocacy, continuing education, and networking for my future practice. 

What is your favorite book?

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try? 

I would either own a daycare or an animal rescue!

How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?

I have met some intelligent, inspiring professionals within the organization. I’m currently serving on the board for ISAPN as the student representative, and I’ve learned so much about the APRN practice. 

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be? 

Take your time. You cannot know everything. Ask questions.
