If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why?
Medellin, Colombia - I have family I haven’t seen in years or even met that I would love to have the opportunity to see!
How many years have you worked in healthcare?
18 years
What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?
The amazing support given to students by the members.
What is your favorite book?
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try?
I would love to try my hand at being an educator!
How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?
Networking with various APRNs, receiving guidance and encouragement for school, learning through educational meetings, and learning about the legislative processes that impact nurses are just a few reasons.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be?
Be a sponge, don’t be afraid to ask questions, you have to get uncomfortable to be successful.
