Family Practice/Primary Care 

 

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why? 

Bali. For the culture, wisdom, positive energy and the raw beauty with adventure to provide mindfulness and tranquility so often deserved but not always able to fulfill. 

 

How many years have you worked in healthcare? 

28 years

 

What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?

I was inspired to become a member because of the powerful display of recognition ISAPN has for its members.  ISAPN has shown it provides its members the information and tools necessary for advancement. They also encourage members to care for one another and  disseminate knowledge. 

 

What is your favorite book?

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

 

If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try? 

An attorney. To advocate for the rights of others. 

 

How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?

ISAPN has benefited myself and my private practice with networking, exposure and an overall feeling of community. 

 

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be? 

Maintain a positive support group of like-minded colleagues.
