The Caribbean, just to relax and enjoy the beauty of the calm, blue waters and sand.

10 years
What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?
To learn more about the organization that impacts our practice and state laws, and to meet new people.
What is your favorite book?
The Notebook, everyone loves the classic romance novels, right?
If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try?
Possibly physical therapy? I loved being a registered nurse and caring for people but I find my MSN education to be priceless. I cannot think of anything else I would rather be learning about.
How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?
I found a preceptor at an ISAPN Dinner event, and I had the opportunity to be a mentee in the mentor program, which really provided the much needed support during that transitional period. And we still keep in touch. I will forever be thankful to my mentor and the program.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student. What would it be?
To not worry so much and to try to enjoy the journey more, no doubt!
