ISAPN - Exciting Volunteer Opportunities Await!

If so, we invite you to seize this opportunity! The ISAPN Board of Directors is now accepting submissions for appointed committee positions. This is your chance to get involved, make an impact, and help shape the future of APRN practice.
The Call for Consents is open until 5:00 pm CT on Friday, November 1st
Appointments will be made at our November 9th Board Meeting.
With several committees and leadership roles available, there’s a place for everyone to contribute. Explore the position description for Region Chairs and the time commitment details for various committees below.

Awards Committee: Help to solicit nominees for the ISAPN annual awards. Work begins in May and wraps up in August after the committee scores and selects the award winners. All meetings are conducted via the Zoom platform.
Bylaws Committee: Reviews the ISAPN bylaws annually and recommends changes to the Board and ISAPN Membership. Meets via Zoom platform 3-4 times per year for 1-2 hours each.
Finance Committee: Prepares an annual budget to be presented to the Board for approval for each fiscal year, reviews the budget quarterly, and recommends any necessary revisions. Meets via the Zoom platform 3-4 times per year for approximately 1 hour.
Government Relations/Political Action Committee: Apprises membership of current legislation, reviews proposed legislation of concern to APRNs, drafts position papers, advises the ISAPN lobbyists, and determines an annual strategy for the use of PAC funds. Meets via the Zoom platform monthly during the legislative session (Jan-May).
Membership Committee: Develops and implements plans for retaining and increasing membership, informs the membership of upcoming programs, and monitors news media for health-related issues. Meets via the Zoom platform at least bimonthly and frequently communicates via email.
Program Committee: Plans the annual conference and other educational programs. Meets via the Zoom platform monthly for 1-2 hours each time.
