Announcing Evan Alling, Our New Student Representative on the ISAPN Board of Directors!

Dear ISAPN Members,

We’re thrilled to introduce Evan Alling as the new Student Representative on the ISAPN Board of Directors! Evan joins us with a wealth of clinical experience and an inspiring dedication to advancing the nursing profession.

As a DNP-FNP student, experienced nurse, and paramedic, Evan brings a unique perspective to the board, combining hands-on expertise with a deep commitment to public health and patient education. His impactful mission work in Costa Rica and an ongoing project using interactive YouTube videos to promote colon cancer screenings in rural areas are just a few examples of his innovative approach to healthcare and community outreach.

Beyond his professional achievements, Evan is also a working father, and he understands the challenges of balancing family, career, and personal growth—experiences that many of our members share. His journey toward becoming a preceptor further demonstrates his dedication to mentoring future nursing professionals.

As a member of our board, Evan aims to advocate for educational initiatives and resources that empower advanced practice nurses, supporting ISAPN’s mission to be leaders in patient care and healthcare policy. We’re excited to see the valuable contributions he will make in this new role.
